About Us

The Environmental Law Report provides relevant coverage of environmental legal news. Launched in 2007 by the Courthouse News Service, the Environmental Law Report is geared toward law firms, environmental organizations and media companies who follow environmental legal news through our monthly print magazine and the online edition.

The Environmental Law Report contains articles on lawsuits, rulings and other legal filings written by reporters from across the United States and Canada. Drawing from an international network of live, on-the-ground court coverage, subscribers stay up-to-date on a wide range of environmental topics, such as climate, energy, toxic tort and endangered species.

In addition to the featured articles, the Environmental Law Report includes three extra sections: On the Hill, covering the latest environmental activity in Washington, D.C.; In Brief, describing settlements, convictions and miscellaneous legal proceedings related to the environment; Regulatory Roundup, a rundown of noteworthy environmental rules published in the National Register; and the Featured Ruling, a full-text opinion relevant to the environment that’s hand-picked each month by the editor.
